Wool gathering par excellence. On top of
Olrig Hill one fine Saturday afternoon with
camera in hand. The dyke is old Caithness
flag stone, built perhaps 150 years ago,
or more, now deteriorating with passage of
time but still a boundary dyke in situ.
Note the vertical coping stones to finish
off the top of the dyke of horizontal layers.
The sheeps'wool is attached to a loose barbed
wire somewhat slack and hanging. Still, the
effect is magical, the foto is Sharon's.
